Privacy

The short version: this site doesn't watch you.

What this site collects

Nothing, by default. There are no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies set by this site for browsing it. We don't know who reads which page, and that's deliberate — some visitors are here for sensitive reasons and it's none of our business.

The one exception: the donation form

Our donate page embeds a secure form from CanadaHelps, the registered charity that processes our donations. That form is CanadaHelps' own: it loads their scripts and Google's reCAPTCHA, and it may set cookies while you use it. Your payment details go directly to CanadaHelps and never touch this website. How they handle your information is described in the CanadaHelps privacy policy. If you'd rather not use the embedded form, you can give by phone or in person — call 867-633-2437.

Forms

When you send a form — a supply order, a training request, a membership or board application, a volunteer note — we receive exactly what you typed and nothing more. No hidden fields, no device fingerprinting.

Submissions are stored in our own content system on a server in Toronto —your information stays in Canada. Each kind of submission is seen only by the staff who handle that kind of request: supply orders go to the harm reduction team, training requests to the education coordinators, and so on. We keep submissions only as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and clear out old ones periodically.

Your information, your call

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call the office at 867-633-2437 and ask for the Executive Director. Every form on this site also has a phone alternative — if you'd rather not put something in writing, call instead.

This website is not your file

Nothing on this website asks about your health or your substance use, on purpose. Records about the people who use our programs — at the drop-in, the consumption site, in housing support — are a separate world, protected by our organizational confidentiality policies and, where they apply, Yukon's health privacy laws. Those records never touch this website, and this policy isn't what protects them: our program policies go further.

Likewise, nothing about visiting our locations or calling our numbers is recorded by this website.

If you have a concern

Talk to us first — call 867-633-2437 and ask for the Executive Director. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at 1-800-282-1376.
