Supervised consumption site
A safer place to use your drugs
No appointment, no ID, and nobody watching the door. Staff are trained to respond immediately if something goes wrong — that's the entire point of the place.

6189 6th Avenue, 5th Avenue entrance
Monday to Friday, 10:30am – 9:00pm (smoke room closes 8:30pm)
What happens when you walk in
Fear of the unknown keeps people away. Here's the whole thing, start to finish.

01
Check in
A staff member says hi at the front desk. First visit, they'll ask what name you'd like to go by — that's it. No ID, no appointment, no paperwork you didn't choose.
02
Use at a booth
Five booths, each with a mirror, good light and clean equipment. An inhalation room too. You bring your own drugs; we provide everything else.
03
Take your time
Afterwards there's a place to sit, a mug of something warm, and staff nearby. Trained people are on hand the whole time if anything goes wrong.
Curious how the site is going? TheSupervised Consumption Site Evaluation Report 2025 is public, in the resource library.
