Housing

Support for people who have housing concerns

Whether you're trying to keep the place you have or looking for somewhere safer, our outreach team helps with paperwork, rent top-ups, landlord conflicts and the search itself.

Tenant Wisdom course

A short course on your rights and responsibilities as a tenant — leases, repairs, rent increases, and how to handle a conflict before it costs you your housing. Everyone who finishes leaves with a certificate landlords actually recognize.

Landlords Working to End Homelessness

Whitehorse landlords who rent to people the market usually screens out, with Blood Ties as a backstop for both sides. If you're a landlord with a unit and an open mind, we'd like to talk.

Our best story

The Steve Cardiff Tiny House Community

Five tiny homes on one lot, each with a lit window — transitional housing that started with a single house in 2012 and grew into a community.
